REVERSE PRINTING GRAVURE LAMINATION INKS FOR POLYESTER FILM.
TECHNICAL DATA AND WORKING ADVICE
SUBSTRATE
PETLAM INKS gives good adhesion on polyester film and are recommended for reverse printing jobs. These inks are not suitable for surface printing since scratch resistance and gloss is poor.
INK REDUCTION
REDUCER : MIBK + Toluene + Ethyl Acetate, 1:1:1 Ratio. This ratio can be changed as per machine speed and environmental conditions.
ACCELERATOR: To accelerate the drying, MEK or Ethyl Acetate can be used with the Reducer.
RETARDER: MIBK
CLEANING SOLVENT
The reducer recommended are satisfactory for press cleaning.
COLOUR RANGE
A full range of colours are available. Specific shades are matched on Demand
PRODUCT RESISTANCE
PETLAM INKS are suitable for dry bond adhesive lamination with polyethylene film, aluminum foil, paper and board. Good lamination result are achived. Lamination peel strength is depended on adhesives used, adhesive coating weight, substrate laminated and to some extends the nature of the job. It is therefore advisable that proper adhesive is selected and it’s coating weight is controlled in order to get best lamination results.
SPECIAL FEATURES
These inks can be made suitable to print BOPP film by adding special CONVERSION ADDITIVE supplied by us.
